What do students need?
- A laptop, tablet, or computer that can be positioned in front of you where you’re playing. Headphones are also recommended for better sound quality though are not essential.
- A reliable internet connection, with download speeds higher than 20Mb/s and upload speeds greater than 5Mb/s. An Ethernet cable is recommended to provide the best possible connection, however, sitting in close proximity to the WiFi router will also work perfectly.
- Electric guitars should be plugged in to amplifiers so the volume of the guitar is the same level as your voice.
- If you have a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), and require advice regarding how best to integrate it with video conferencing, please ask in the introductory session.
- It’s recommended that students take a few minutes to set themselves up in front of their web camera to achieve a frame like the one shown on the laptop.
How much does it cost?
Prices are available on application. It’s important to speak to students before commencing lessons to ensure the appropriate tuition package is being provided. The introductory sessions are free of charge and are an opportunity for students to see the platform in motion whilst having a friendly discussion about their musical ambitions.
How do I pay?
Payments are made via WorldPay’s Pay By Link, or via direct bank transfer. Payments can currently be made in US dollars, GBP(£), Canadian dollars, and Euros. The currency conversion is done using the exchange rate on the day of invoicing. If you’d like to pay in another currency, this can also be set up very easily. All lessons must be paid for in advance.

Jonathon is a fully DBS checked tutor and is certified to work with people of all age groups. The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is the branch of the UK government responsible for providing background checks on professionals in the workplace.
